Who we are

Here at Johnson’s, we are devoted to the Mini Labradoodle breed—a delightful mix that captures our hearts with their perfect blend of size, intelligence, and kind-hearted nature. Our Mini Labradoodles are more than just pets; they are cherished members of our family. Each day, we are amazed by their playful spirit, their loving demeanor, and their intuitive understanding of our family’s needs.

Our puppies are raised in our own home, never kenneled. They are handled daily and are potty trained on pee pads from two weeks old. The pups are exposed to new environments like exploring new gated areas of our home and outdoors, and meeting our other house pets including a cat and dogs. Our pups are very well socialized before they are handed off to their new homes. We take pride in the careful and loving attention we give to every aspect of their care, from early socialization to health checks, ensuring that each puppy is well-prepared for their new life.

Currently, we have between one and two litters per year. We have two female labradoodles and one male mini poodle.

We have two breeder locations with one in Bemidji, MN and the other located in North Sioux City, SD. All pups are available for pick up, drop off or shipping.

About the Breed..

Personality
Mini Labradoodles are known for their friendly, affectionate, and playful personalities. They’re incredibly social dogs that love being part of the family and are great with children and other pets. With their Poodle lineage, they’re also highly intelligent and eager to learn, making training a fun and rewarding experience. These pups are equally happy playing in the yard or snuggling up for quiet time, and they thrive on love, attention, and companionship.

Size & Coat
Mini Labradoodles typically weigh between 9-15 pounds and stand about 10-15 inches tall at the shoulder, making them a perfect size for both smaller homes and active lifestyles. Our pups have soft, curly coats that range from black to cream and red tones, and are more likely to be low- to non-shedding — great for allergy-sensitive families. Their beautiful coats do require regular grooming, including brushing a few times a week to prevent matting and professional grooming every 6–8 weeks to keep them looking their best.
